Bayer Korea Ltd.

Bayer Korea Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary was founded in 1989. With the business launch of Diabetes Care in 2006 and the divestment of the Diagnostics in March 2007, today they pursue Animal Health, Consumer Care, Diabetes Care and Pharma in Korea. As of 2008 Bayer HealthCare housed the pharmaceutical business of both, Bayer and Schering, under the Bayer Schering Pharma Division. The MaterialScience business in Korea has been well established for many years, supplying polycarbonates as well as raw materials for polyurethane and for the coatings industry. Bayer Korea Ltd. also performs the main central functions for the other affiliates in Korea, such as data processing, administration etc.

Bayer CropScience Ltd.

Bayer CropScience Ltd. in Korea was established in 2002 according to Bayer AG’s acquisition of Aventis CropScience SA worldwide. Bayer CropScience Ltd. is equipped with a wide variety of values added products, which can accommodate a diverse market requirement. In the field of crop protection, Bayer CropScience Ltd. leads the industry with an approximately 20-25 percent share of the crop protection market.

Bayer Sheet Korea Ltd.

Bayer Sheet Korea Ltd. is a plastic sheet manufacturer located in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do. The company's business is comprised of production and marketing of solid sheets made of Bayer’s ‘Markrolon®,’ - a polycarbonate plastic resin - for engineering, construction and E/E (electric and electronics) applications. With about 80 employees, Bayer Sheet Korea Ltd. is geared to new business frontiers with advanced technology and infrastructure.
