Hennecke

Hennecke Gmbh, a subsidary of Bayer AG which developed polyurethane machines originally and has contributed to its improvement.

Hennecke is located in Sankt Augustin, near Bonn, Germany. Otto Bayer invented polyurethane in 1937 and Karl Hennecke founded the company, Hennecke GmbH, in 1945. Bayer AG launched the first PUR raw material on the market in 1950 and Hennecke manufactured the first PUR processing machine in the early 50s.

With a workforce of about 650 employees worldwide and manufacturing facilities in Germany, the USA and Japan, Hennecke ranks among the leading suppliers of polyurethane technology. Its activities break down into five product groups
