The polycarbonate Makrolonand ApecHT, the styrenics Bayblend, Cadon and the polyester amides BAK(biodegradable) and Accord, the thermoplastic polyurethanes Desmopan and Texin and the extruded films Bayfol and Makrofol and used in automotive engineering, electrical engineering and electronics, business machines and electrical appliance housing, construction, medical equipment and in the sports and leisure industries.
We also markets glass fibers and the polymer raw material bisphenol A and caprolactam. In particular due to a variety of properties, special grades of Makrolon are used for CD, CD-R, DVD, water bottle, food container, hand phone-housing, high impact sheet, lighting(head lamp lens) and medical equipment.
Bayblend is mainly used in automotive area and for environmental friendly housing in the business machine applications. New applications for Makrofolfilm are in-mold- decorated parts in the automotive and information technology.
